In 1990, the Bank of China issued their first 10 Yuan gold coin showing the Dragon and the Phoenix.
In Chinese mythology, the Dragon represents the emeror and the Phoenix stands for the empress.
Like the original coin, our issue weighs 1g, but is minted in Piedfort and in 9999 finest gold.
The set is completed by a 1 oz silver coin bearing the same motif.
