His motif was realized by the master medalists of the P. De Greef studio at the highest level and with attention to detail.
The cobra's head stands out three-dimensionally thanks to the coin's extremely high relief, while its wide-open mouth seems to look directly at the viewer.
The coin features an incredible overall height of 23.8 mm - that's higher than the diameter of a 1-euro coin!
Thanks to the excellent minting quality, even subtleties such as the scales of the snake are impressively shown to advantage.
